After you are satisfy with our kitchen design, we will come to your home and make a pattern of your cabinets and countertop area. If there are existing counters we ask that all material be cleared from the top in order to protect your items and to help us to complete the template in an efficient manner.
If you have purchased a sink, cook top, or faucets please have them available so that we can include those measurements and finalize placement of these items as part of our templating process.
Questions about overhang, seam placement, edge style or general support will also be discussed at this time.
At the completion of the template a 50% deposit is required. Please make check payable to Epic Stone & Tile, LLC.
After we do the template, please do not move, adjust, change or add on the cabinets to ensure the accuracy of our measurements for the installation.
Prior to fabrication we encourage you to approve your final slab. Once your material has been inspected we begin the fabrication process. We double check all measurements, cutouts for sinks or cook top, where seams will be placed if needed and what the final finished edge will be. If any changes have been made since the template and it requires an additional charge you will be notified at this time.
If your project requires the removal of old counters and arrangements have already been made with Epic Stone & Tile we will remove and dispose of them on the same day of installation.
During installation we will set any under-mount sinks or cook tops, faucets will be dropped into place for confirmation of fit. As the final step of installation we will seal and inspect your counters.
Once installation is complete it is important not to use the sink for twelve hours. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your plumber.
After you have inspected the counters and before the installer leaves a check payable to Epic Stone & Tile LLC for the balance is due.
We stand behind our products and services and are committed to your satisfaction. If for any reason you're not happy with your cabinets, we'll work with you to make it right. Our goal is to ensure that you're completely satisfied with your new kitchen.

Granite is a beautiful, strong natural stone with a rich, and distinct look. Granite is durable and easy to maintain and with so many colors and designs, this natural stone is a pleasing choice. Granite can have a honed finish or have a polished finish that will retain its high gloss virtually forever.
Quartz is an engineered surface that has grown in popularity as it offers the look of a marble or granite.
Porcelain is a beautiful surface with many desirable benefits. It is the most scratch resistant, stain resistant and chemical resistant product on the market. It is lightweight and available in a wide variety of stunning stone textures, making it one of the most versatile and beautiful materials we offer.
Granite is quarried (excavated) in its natural state directly from the earth in blocks 10ft. x 10ft. x 10ft. It is then cut into slabs usually 1 ¼” thick and polished on one side.
Granite is priced at the quarry. Some of the factors that determine the price are availability, color and country of origin. We have found that for the average size kitchen in today’s market granite is still the best value for your dollar.
There are many variables that have to be taken into consideration when we are determining the cost of your counters. The cost of the material, the design of your counters, and the number of slabs to be used are only a few of the factors that figure in the final price. The most important piece of information is accurate measurements supplied by a detail drawing or from our final template once your cabinets are in place.
Every lot of stone is different. Whether it is a stone that has a continuous pattern or one that has a lot of natural movement, there will be color variation or pattern change. We would suggest making your FINAL choice two or three weeks before installation.
If you have not personally viewed or chosen your granite slabs at our facility or at one of our distributors we highly recommend you do to alleviate any surprises at time of installation.
We are often asked this question. Because marble is a softer, more porous stone and highly susceptible to scratching and staining we do not recommend it. This decision must be made carefully.
Granite performs second to Stainless Steel in its ability to resist bacterial growth.
Granite was formed under extreme heat and pressure. Taking a hot pan from the stove and placing it on your granite counter will not have any detrimental effect. We always recommend a hot plate.
Yes. The majority of cracks or chips are caused by dropping or banging a heavy object against the edge (this is where the majority of cracks and chips appear) these can be repaired to look like new.
No. Granite has a high resistance to scratching but overtime it will dull your cutlery. It is always best to use a cutting board.
Mild soap and water. You can also use any daily cleaner made specifically for natural stone.
Granite is very stain resistant. However, the porosities of granite differ. If not properly sealed some granite can absorb liquid into the pores. It may look like a dark spot on the counter but over time it will disappear.
Some granites are harder than others and may never have to be sealed. We seal your counters before they are installed. If you notice water not beading up or dark areas forming around the sink it is time to reseal. This process may be done on an annual basis and only takes 5 to 10 minutes.
